We grow Lions Mane, Reishi and Cordyceps in house in specifically designed tunnels on a substrate of two species of tree for the wood lovers and organic brown rice for the Cordyceps (the trees chosen are from research by Nicholas Naeger, it shows a massive difference between tree species and the beta glucan content and other compounds of interest) therefore we don't use any old sawdust and chip from tree surgeons nor Hard Wood Fuel Pellets neither are clean and contain many different tree species! We prefer paying a little more for specific food grade sawdust !

ffwng's apply the principles of spagyric alchemy to our functional mushrooms.Here's a simplified overview of our process:

♃ Separation: We separate the mushroom into its three alchemical principles: Mercury (spirit), Sulfur (soul), and Salt (body).

♄ Purification: Each principle undergoes purification.

The spirit (oil based compounds are extracted with organic grain alcohol)

The soul (water soluble compounds are extracted with medical grade distilled water)

Both these extractions are carried out with ultrasonic extraction rather than heat and pressure

The body (the remaining fungal matter after both extractions, through calcination.)

☉ Recombination: The purified principles are recombined to create a potent, balanced elixir that captures the full spectrum of the mushroom's properties
