02  Our approach

Not a commodity. A craft.

Grown by us — not bought in

Cultivated in purpose-built tunnels on our Welsh hillside. We do not source from wholesalers or repackage imported produce. What reaches you was grown here.

Welsh spring water

The spring water feeding down through the rock above us hydrates every cycle. No treated mains water. The environment itself is part of the product.

Beech and birch substrate

We grow on clean, food-grade beech and birch — chosen for the nutritional and structural properties they give the mushroom. Never generic sawdust, fuel pellets or soy hulls.

Harvested at peak

Picked when ready, not when the logistics schedule demands. No synthetic pesticides, fungicides or growth regulators at any point.

Direct relationship

On provenance, allergens, substrate or harvest schedules, you speak to the person who grew them. No account managers, no distribution layers.
